• If you don’t have a great pair of trainers (normal running shoe) then you need to purchase that. They will also have spikes but no event specific spikes. Mid-distance and distance spikes are completely different than sprint spikes, so check into that before purchasing ~ especially if you get them somewhere else. Here are links to places that also sell spikes … if you are a field eventer, I would purchase event specific shoes as soon as possible.
